Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki

Meaning

An aarti to Krishna, who roams the groves of Vrindavan and lifted Govardhan. He wears the Vaijayanti garland, plays the sweet flute and has earrings that glitter; he is the joy of Nanda. His body is dark as the sky and Radha shines beside him; among the creepers stands the wearer of forest garlands, with curls like bees, a musk tilak and a face like the moon. His golden peacock crown shines, the gods long to see him, flowers rain from the sky and drums play as he dances with the gopis. The Ganga, which charms every heart and ends delusion when remembered, flows from his feet and lives in Shiva's matted hair, washing away sin. On the bright sands of the Yamuna his flute sounds, surrounded by gopis, cowherds and cows; his gentle smile cuts the bonds of the world and he hears the cry of the suffering.
